Nipstik to the rescue! For breastfeeding mama’s, Nipstik is a lifesaver. The unscented, plant-based formulation is designed to soothe, nourish and assist with the healing of tender, cracked and damaged nipples. Despite the name, Nipstik isn’t just for nipples – you can also use it on chapped lips! Nipstik is also great for mums-to-be who are preparing for breastfeeding in the third trimester.
Application: Apply Nipstik directly to the nipples as often as needed. Breastfeeding can occur without needing to wash the balm off, however, if any residue is left before the next breastfeed you can use a dry cloth to wipe it off. The organic ingredients are safe for bubs if a small amount of residue remains at the next feed.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
It’s normal for nipples to become tender when starting breastfeeding, it’s all new! If you do have cracked damaged nipples, make sure your baby is attached correctly to prevent any further damage.
